About Us

Serving you since 2007

Campervan Coachworks grew out of necessity a quarter of a century ago, born out of Campervans 4 U, the company responsible for many of the T25 and later T4 Westfalias you see on Britain’s roads. If you own a left-hand drive one there’s a high chance it was the founder Andy who imported it from north-west Germany (North Rhine-Westfalia is a State). His customers started to report a need for good quality, and knowledgeable, mechanics to keep their pride and joys on the road. The faces have changed over the decades yet the love for these retro, fun and loveable vehicles has been passed on from one to the next.

Dayle trained with Volkswagen before making high-end welding and fabrication his niche while Alex developed a rich understanding of C20th engines while working in a classic vehicle restoration business. Dan has a lifetime of prepping and painting vehicles, fine-tuning his work to specialise in high-end sports cars; Ferraris, Porsches, Aston Martins and the like – when he’s not enjoying helping keep 40yr old campervans on the road. Greg’s been a VW nut since his teen years at Santa Pod in the 1990s, admiring the bright Cal-look Bugs before owning his own when a student, then a Karmann Ghia and eventually a Type2 Bay for family camping and surf- tripping.
